Alexandra DePierro, Manalapan, has been named vice president of client services and content development of Shore Creative Group, Long Branch, an advertising and marketing firm. DePierro will manage client accounts, create content and oversee social media platforms. DePierro was in charge of brand creation, and management of global sales for Health and Natural Beauty USA Corp., Piscataway, before joining Shore Creative Group. Shore Creative Group is a advertising and marketing firm whose services include advertising, branding, search engine marketing, social media, email marketing, Web design and video marketing.
Ocean Health Initiatives opens Brick health center
Ocean Health Initiatives opened its sixth site in Ocean County at 1608 Route 88, Suite 207 in Brick and is accepting new patients. The Brick Health Center, formerly run by Ocean Medical Center, has six exam rooms. OHI’s medical services include internal medicine, family medicine, and a range of pediatric services. Women’s health services are planned. Dr. Jay V. Wortzel and his team are available from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays. Ocean Health Initiatives has health centers in Lakewood, Little Egg Harbor, Manchester, Stafford and Toms River. They provide comprehensive primary and preventative health and dental care to Ocean County’s uninsured, underinsured and insured populations. A sliding-fee scale is available, based on an individual’s or family’s ability to pay.
HR group awards scholarships to local women
The Jersey Shore Association of Human Resources has awarded two Ann C. Edwards scholarships. Nicole Dykeman, a 2017 graduate of Neptune High School, received a $1,000 student scholarship to continue her college education. She will major in English with a concentration in publishing studies in the fall at Hofstra University, New York. Sasha Goldfarb Rivera, Brick, received the $500 member scholarship to help defray expenses associated with studying for the SHRM-CP professional designation. Rivera is a senior human resources analyst with Sparta Systems Inc. in Hamilton.
