Missguided eyes UK and US growth with new SEO support

Fashion retailer Missguided has appointed a new digital public relations (PR) and search engine optimisation (SEO) agency as its looks to grow its online presence in the UK and US.

The business has opted to work with Rise at Seven, which will work with its in-house digital, creative, social media and SEO team to optimise the Missguided website on both sides of the Atlantic. The new digital partner promises to drive brand awareness through creative content marketing and PR.

Rise at Seven already works with fashion chain Matalan, and bikes and car parts retailer Halfords, having launched earlier this year.

Sam Pennington, head of SEO at Missguided, said: “Rise at Seven’s values and outlook completely aligns with ours.”

He added: “Their approach to link acquisition and digital growth is exactly what we were looking for to take our brand to the next level online.”

“Their proven link acquisition results with current content marketing campaigns and relationship we have with the team already reassures us that they fully understand our ambitions.”

Carrie Rose, founder and creative director of Sheffield-based Rise at Seven, said Missguided is “looking to push the boundaries, and be bold with their digital strategy”.

Rise at Seven was launched in June, and founded by Rose alongside fellow former employee at digital agencies Edit and Branded3, Stephen Kenwright.
