Ms. Marvel Teased for Marvel Cinematic Universe
Captain Marvel (Carol Danvers) is set to make her big screen debut in 2019, and pay one significant role in the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War – but it seems like another female superhero is going to coming into the MCU after her introduction.
It’s time to stretch! Marvel Studios Producer, Kevin Feige revealed in an interview that Ms. Marvel would be heading to our screens shortly. He noted that they want to make sure Carol Danvers is done right, before introducing the Muslim Pakistani American superhero, Kamala Khan. In the past few years, there’s been a lot in the way of rumors and speculation pointing to the character getting her vehicle, but so far, nothing’s materialized. But it seems like the time as she could play an essential role in the upcoming Avengers sequels.
Created by editors Sana Amanat and Stephen Wacker, writer G. Willow Wilson and artist Adrian Alphona, the character made her first appearance in Captain Marvel #14 (August 2013) before taking the lead in the solo series Ms. Marvel, which debuted in February 2014. But how will she work in the Marvel Cinematic Universe? I am very excited to see the heart and soul fo modern-day Marvel comics in live-action.
