How Does Linkin.bio by Later Work?
Ready to start using Linkin.bio on your profile? Here’s how to get set up:
Step #1: Log in to Later on Desktop
Sign up (or login) to Later on your desktop.
When you log in, you’ll see Linkin.bio in the sidebar. Follow the initial steps to create your unique Linkin.bio URL, then paste the URL into your Instagram bio.
Step #2: Add a Link to a Scheduled Post
Schedule a post in Later, then add the URL you’d like your post to link to in the Linkin.bio field.
This post will then connected to that specific link once it’s published!
But don’t worry if you forget to add a link when you’re scheduling or if you have a previous post that could use a new link — you can update any post with a Linkin.bio link.
Just open the Linkin.bio tab to find the post you want to link. Then paste in your new link — this works on posts published before using Later!
Step #3: Add Your Linkin.bio URL to Your Instagram Bio
Every linked post lives under the same URL — your custom Linkin.bio link!
So now you can caption your posts with “check out the link in our bio” without worrying about updating the URL every time.
All you have to do is copy and paste this custom URL into your Instagram bio to save it your profile.
Step #4: Let Your Followers Know About the New Link in Your Bio!
Now you’re ready to share the news about your new Linkin.bio!
Your followers can click your bio link and see a page that looks exactly like your Instagram feed.
They can tap any post that’s caught their eye, and voilà — they’re brought to the page you linked to in that post.
