Beginning today through Sunday, April 15, WordCamp Atlanta 2018 takes place. A sold-out event, this particular WordCamp kicks off with two Beginner Sessions for Novice WordPress Users and Website Designers. There is also a Developer Session on Gutenberg Development (a huge topic among the WordPress community) happening today.
Opening Remarks and a keynote from Aimee Copeland occur tomorrow on Saturday. On Sunday, our very own Director of Client Strategy, Jodie Riccelli, presents her talk, “Selling to Enterprise Clients.” See the full WordCamp Atlanta schedule here.
“I hope attendees leave with confidence and feel empowered to present WordPress as the best option for big brands,” Jodie says when asked what takeaways those going to her presentation can expect. Aside from her talk, Jodie is also looking forward to “Becoming a Community Builder: A WordPress Story” by Raquel Landefeld, “Overcoming Your Fear of Sales” with April Wier, and “Building Belonging through Podcasting” presented by Liam Dempsey.
“This is my first time at WordCamp ATL so I’m very excited to see what the organizers have planned,” Jodie explains. You can learn more about Jodie and the inspiration behind her talk by listening to her speaker interview here.
