Oh, Hello There Pixel 4 Pictures! – Droid Life

The Google Pixel 4, in the clearest real world photos to date, has surfaced.

Today, we got fresh photos that show both the front and back of a Pixel 4 or Pixel 4 XL with all of its front sensors and bezel, as well as that square camera housing on the back. We can also see that whoever posted these photos was using the phone on Sprint and took them today, August 27.

Where’d they come from? XDA’s Mishaal Rahman posted them to his Twitter account, saying that they had been passed around a private Telegram group today. He made them public looking for help to verify their legitimacy.

Outside of the general design, we can gather that the super-thin side has a white power button and the backside is a glossy glass, more than likely. The rear camera there is rumored to be made up of a flash, ToF sensor, 12MP regular camera, and a 16MP telephoto lens.

There is no indication on the front screen that there is a fingerprint reader of any kind, but the phone does show that it was unlocked, probably through face unlock (or smart lock). We know that Google is using a system of sensors, including a Soli radar chip, to add advanced face unlock to the Pixel 4 and this might be showing that in action. We feared that Google may completely ditch fingerprint sensors altogether.

That’s about all we’re taking away from here. It’s hard to know if this is the regular Pixel 4 or the larger 4 XL. We can’t see the bottom of the phone to know of speaker placement or ports. The software isn’t really revealing much either, since it’s just a lock screen.

Oh, there’s no 100% confirmation that these are real, but they sure look good. If something changes on that front, we’ll be sure to update this post.
