The company is now tweeting out teasers for its October 10 launch event, one that it had previously confirmed will take place in London. What’s coming? Well, all signs point to the OnePlus 7T Pro.
The Chinese smartphone maker has always referred to the OnePlus 7T as a “series,” indicating that there will be more than one phone in this refresh cycle. We have also previously seen leaks about devices called the OnePlus 7T Pro and OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition.
The teasers for the October 10 event have gone up on both the OnePlus India Twitter handle as well as the global account.

OnePlus October 10 launch event timing
As previously revealed on company forums, the October 10 OnePlus launch event will take place at the Magazine London Theater. The event is scheduled to start at 4PM BST (11AM ET) on October 10.
The livestream link for the event hasn’t gone up yet, but you can expect to catch the launch event on the OnePlus YouTube channel.
OnePlus 7T Pro expected specs
Previous leaks of the OnePlus 7T Pro showed a matte blue phone with a vertically aligned triple camera setup at the back as opposed to the OnePlus 7T’s circular camera housing.
The alleged OnePlus 7T Pro also looks to have a pop-up selfie camera rather than one embedded in the front notch.
The leaked renders show that the OnePlus 7T Pro looks identical to the OnePlus 7 Pro. The McLaren edition of the phone also resembles the 7 Pro. However, it has a black and orange color scheme and a McLaren logo.
Besides the 90Hz display already teased by OnePlus, we expect the OnePlus 7T Pro and its McLaren Edition to sport the Snapdragon 855 Plus chipset, 8GB RAM, and 256GB storage. The McLaren Edition could get up to 12GB of RAM.
The triple camera setup on the rumored OnePlus 7T Pro is also expected to remain very similar to the OnePlus 7T. This means a 48MP + 12MP + 16MP setup at the back.
Further, the OnePlus 7T Pro is tipped to pack a 4,085mAh battery.
OnePlus 7T Pro expected availability
OnePlus will make the OnePlus 7T available in the US and worldwide on October 18. We expect the OnePlus 7T Pro and the OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition to go on sale around the same time, if not the same day.
