The summer is a great time to try a little variety in your beer selection for family BBQs. As for the beer, Four Peaks is offering up Kilt Lifter, which is their Scottish-style ale. Kilt Lifter is crafted in the tradition and honor of the great strong ales of Scotland.
As Four Peaks notes, you will take one sip of this ale and you will swear it had been brewed by men in kilts. It is a full-bodied ale with pronounced flavors of caramel and roasted barley. You will notice its amber color, malty sweetness and a hint of smokiness with a clean dry finish. That is a true Scottish-style ale.
As you enjoy Kilt Lifter at your next BBQ or maybe at the camping grounds, you will notice the sweet biscuit aroma that follows the overall flavor. It is a clean and balanced ale. This is serious malt bomb that packs tons of toasted malt up front which is then followed by lots of caramel and brown sugar.
