Price of NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 Drops to an all-time low of Rs. 21,499 in India

Here’s news for those of you who’ve remained on the fence about RTX. The original RTX 2060 (not the Super model, mind you), has been receiving significant price cuts at Indian outlets. MDComputers now has the Colorful iGame 2060 listed for just Rs. 21,700. Keep in mind that this is the price-point that the GeForce GTX 1660 Ti launched at.

For that low price, you get a full-fat Turing part with the RT cores and tensor cores both, for DLSS and ray-tracing. You get raster performance that’s better than Vega 64 and about on par with the GTX 1080. This makes it a great option for 1440p, and the cheapest card by a long shot to get you a playable 60 FPS experience at that resolution. You get ray-tracing as well, but the 2060 is really not good enough to deliver playable framerates there unless you drop to 1080p.

MD isn’t the only outlet that’s cut prices on the 2060. Vedant Computers has the Asus Phoenix 2060 listed for Rs. 22,990. While that a bit more, it’s still much cheaper than the 2060 Super in the 30k-plus range and simply the best price-performance option for 1440p. We have no idea how long these prices will last. While Nvidia hasn’t actually EOL’d the 2060, it’s not exactly the poster boy of the RTX series, so get these cards while they last.

The ASUS Phoenix started this price war with a price tag of 21.9K for a single fan RTX 2060, but then Inno3D and Colorful took matters into their own hands and started selling their top-end triple fan 2060s for even less. The Colorful iGame RTX 2060 is the best choice of the three, thanks to the behemoth of a heatsink that cools it.
