Brighton-based digital marketing agency, Propellernet has bolstered its leadership team with two new appointments. Dave Peiris will join the agency as director of technical SEO and Tallulah Cullen will join as head of PR.
After a raft of recent industry award wins, including the Grand Prix at The Drum Search Awards, the announcement marks a strategic step forward for the agency, ensuring creative SEO campaigns have a seamless blend of search impact and PR appeal.
Peiris brings over 10 years of industry experience to his new role, with expertise in aligning brand and SEO strategies, in-depth audits and link building campaigns. For the last six years Peiris has been providing freelance SEO consultancy for brands such as Radley, Bang and Olufsen, National Geographic Kids and Merlin Entertainment. Prior to this he worked at iCrossing on well-known brands such as Apple, BBC and TK Maxx. As director of technical SEO, Peiris’s overarching objective will be to lead his team in delivering an unrivalled service and industry leading results for clients.
Cullen moves to Propellernet from creative communications and consumer PR agency, Cow PR, where she held the position of director, responsible for high-profile accounts such as Disney, Three Mobile, Cravendale, Heinz and The Shop Direct Group (Littlewoods, Isme and Very). A PR expert, Cullen brings over 13 years of agency experience to Propellernet and is responsible for the agency’s PR team overseeing PR, content and creative specialists. Cullen will be looking to build on the integrated PR services that Propellernet offers, as well as developing the PR arm of Propellernet outside the remit of SEO-PR.
Nikki Gatenby, managing director at Propellernet comments: “Search continues to evolve rapidly, not only through technological advancements, but also via an increased emphasis on quality, engaging content. Dave and Tallulah will be invaluable members of our team, ensuring we stay at the forefront of the industry and enabling us to continue delivering award-winning work for our clients.”
Peiris comments: “I’m excited to join Propellernet’s team. The agency’s culture is like no other within the industry and allows everyone here the freedom to deliver great work for our clients. Propellernet has an outstanding reputation for pushing boundaries with their out-of-the-box thinking and creative campaigns, and I look forward to helping the agency grow and develop.”
On her new appointment, Cullen adds: “Propellernet’s industry achievements speak for themselves, but it was also the culture of the company that made a profound impression on me. I was inspired by the passion that every person I met had for their work and the company itself, and I look forward to continuing to be inspired by the wealth of talent that is in the building.”
