Salesforce launches new Datorama marketplace with marketing intelligence at the forefront

Salesforce and Datorama are launching a marketplace for brands and agencies to create and use apps using Datorama’s marketing intelligence capabilities. The new Datorama marketplace will allow developers to build apps for marketers on the Datorama platform, as well as on the Salesforce AppExchange.

Datorama’s AI capabilities will be generally available to developers through the new marketplace and the entire Datorama tech stack. Apps created on the new Datorama platform will also be available on the Salesforce App Exchange.

Why we should care.

As data-driven marketers, it can be easy to get lost navigating the complex systems that store your data when you’re trying to compile a report. Many martech vendors are working to develop systems that provide a simplified view into data to solve for this challenge.

“The Datorama platform already offers marketers the ability to connect and analyze thousands of marketing data sources instantaneously,” said Jay Wilder, head of product marketing at Datorama. “Many want to do more with Datorama — from accessing new data sources to creating different visual layouts. Datorama simplifies how marketers can discover and implement new marketing solutions, giving them the ability to expand into new data sources, areas of measurement, reporting and insights – all with immediate time to value.”

There are more than 7,000 martech vendors in the space, and digital marketers need to understand better how their various campaigns and programs work. This solution could help marketers by enhancing visibility into their efforts in a single place so they can analyze performance and make the right marketing investments.

More on the news:

  • To access the Datorma Marketplace, you’ll need to be a Datorama customer. However, all apps within Datorama’s platform will be available to marketers on the Salesforce AppExchange.
  • Developers will be able to leverage the entire Datorama technology stack, including the platform’s AI capabilities that range from data integration to cross-platform analytics and insights.
