Every year I struggle trying to find the “perfect” gift. Something that is thoughtful and meaningful and useful. But most of the time I feel like I’m just spending to spend.
That being said, this year for the holidays I am looking to make more meaningful purchases that not only delight but donate.
I found this sweet list from Buzzfeed of 36 Companies that Give Back when you make a purchase (think Toms or Warby Parker).
Some more companies that I know of:
- The Little Market – fair trade, ethically sourced, nonprofit, supports female artisans around the world
- Love Your Melon – donates hats to kids with cancer, pediatric cancer research
- Bombas – fun socks, every pair purchased a pair is donated.
Anywho, I’m going to strive to buy from these and thought I’d share. LMK if you all have any companies to add to the list!
