Senior Manager, Audience Development job with New York Post


We are currently seeking a dynamic and passionate Senior Manager of Audience Development to join our team. This is an opportunity to become a leader on a highly successful digital team and help us to reach new audiences on every platform. This role reports into the Senior Director of Audience Development and is primarily responsible for developing and implementing data-driven traffic growth strategies for all touchpoints with a particular focus on content marketing and mobile app marketing.

Responsibilities

● Develop and maintain content marketing partnerships to drive traffic and increase onsite revenue

● Lead and implement content marketing strategy for all brands

● Leverage analytics and audience insights to determine the most relevant content for the Audience Development Assistant to pitch to partners

● Monitor performance metrics to ensure paid traffic KPIs and ROI goals are met

● Maintain proficiency and knowledge in latest industry trends, technology and best practices

● Ensure content marketing efforts align with email growth strategy

● Build strategies to drive mobile app installs and increase retention through onboarding, audience segmentation, and in-app content promotion

 

Qualifications

● Minimum 5 years of experience in digital audience development and/or digital marketing; publisher experience preferred

● Demonstrable track record of growing online audiences through content marketing

● Mobile app marketing experience, a bonus but not required

● Knowledge of digital media trends and emerging platforms

● Proficiency in metrics-based decision making with an emphasis on reading and interpreting data

● Ability to be both a self-starter and team player; strong interpersonal and communication skills are required

● Ability to balance priorities and thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment

● Highly organized with excellent attention to detail

● Solid Google Analytics experience required

● Passion for all things digital
