Job description

You will be responsible for owning and driving the HomeChoice SEO strategy forward. In this role, you will manage all on-site and off-site SEO activities including technical audits, SEO content strategies, link building, content partnerships and keyword strategies. You’ll be driven by numbers and data, up-to date with the latest SEO best practice, and have a thorough understanding of the SEO challenges faced by large dynamic content driven websites.

Here’s what you can expect to be doing in the role: (KPA’s)              

    • Set up and manage SEO reporting

    • Develop and formalize SEO KPIs and metrics for success

    • Work closely with the analytics team to set up improved reporting and SEO tracking

    • Manage monthly and weekly SEO reporting

    • Define both the off-site and on-site SEO strategies from the ground up

    • Take responsibility for driving SEO channel revenue and traffic growth

    • Drive growth in key metrics such as SEO traffic, rankings, bounce rates, conversion rates, and AOV

    • Execute monthly SEO initiatives and improvements

    • Identify on-site and off-site SEO opportunities and weaknesses

    • Devise and execute successful outreach campaigns

    • Work closely with Product Team to resolve any technical issues hindering growth

    • Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion and optimisation

    • Develop and implement content syndication campaigns

    • Grow relationships and initiatives with digital partners and content creators

    • Work closely with the copy team to optimise on page SEO & conversion rates

    • Conduct technical SEO audits and identify technical fixes that will drive the most SEO value (ROI)

Requirements

A little about who you are:

    • A relevant tertiary qualifcation  

    • At least 3-5 years’ experience in SEO

    • Have worked in competitive verticals such as travel, ecommerce or finance

    • Link building experience (both at scale and one to one relationships)

    • Highly competent in Excel, analytics and data analysis

    • Proficient in conducting technical audits on large content driven websites

    • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints

    • Experience with SEO tools such as Search Console, rank tracking tools, crawling tools and backlink analysis tools

    • An understanding of customer acquisition and how SEO fits into the wider channel mix

    • Copywriting experience beneficial

    • Google qualifications beneficial
