On American Idol, Shannon O’Hara has her moment in her amazing cover of “All I Ask” by Adele for her Top 24 Solo performance in front of a live audience and Judges Katy Perry, Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie on American Idol.

Lionel Richie said how there was a moment where she picked up the microphone. Lionel noted that there is a relaxing moment when an artist takes the mic out of the stand. Luke Bryan said great job as she always delivers from the first time that they have seen her. Luke said she is comfortable behind the piano but that she was growing. Luke said congrats.

Katy Perry called it a great song choice. Katy said you just need to be you. Katy said she loves her because she is so versatile. Katy said she is so good with playing instruments. Katy noted that they needed to see more identity and individuality. She said to study your competitors and to find what makes you so unique compared to them.
