MBC‘s ‘Under Nineteen‘ has revealed the final 9 contestants to debut as 1THE9!
The February 9th episode featured the final stage of the 18 contestants as Wumuti was unable to perform due to personal reasons. In the end, the two trainees competing for the #1 spot was Jung Jin Sung and Jeon Do Yum, who expressed, “Thank you to the supporters who made it possible for us to debut,” and “I’m really nervous. I’m really grateful,” respectively.
Jeon Do Yum eventually took the position of center after landing #1. He said, “I’m so grateful people have given me their love even if I’m lacking in so many ways. I’m grateful to the staff for always creating amazing broadcasts. I want to say that all the contestants worked really hard.” The final trainee to make the group at lucky #9 was Kim Jun Seo, who said in tears, “I’m thankful for all the supporters who are here, to the other contestants, and to my parents and teachers.”
