Take This D Train Straight To The Successful Blogging Station

I am writing these words from Manhattan.

Beautiful New York City.

The Upper West Side.

The D train is one subway my wife and I ride if we wish to travel around the city.

It got me thinking; rocking bloggers ride a D train directly into the successful blogging station.

I dissect the first 2 D’s via this Periscope video.

Watch it here:

1: Dream

D1. Inspire your readers to dream. Sell a dream. I teach folks how to retire to a life of island hopping. Through smart blogging. This is the Do, D, or D2. But I sell a big old, inspiring, emotionally charged dream by posting pictures from my travels to my blog. I also send out 1080 HD videos I recorded in paradise to my email list subscribers.

Sharing a dream with your readers goads them to do the freeing, fun and sometimes scary things we need to do to become successful bloggers, to make our dreams come true.

You may feel terrified to spend $4 or $200 or $350 on some of my eBooks, services or courses but after seeing this quick 720 HD video I filmed from the back porch in Savusavu, Fiji, a few years ago, you may just be all in. This spark of inspiration, this exposure to something fun and exciting, it may just pull you through your fears so you take proven steps (buying my eBooks or courses or hiring me to coach you) to make your travel dreams come true.

Or even if you have no travel dreams, seeing such dreamy inspiration can motivate you to live your dreams, whatever they may be.

2: Do

D2. Teach your audience how to do. Or, teach your readers about practical steps to follow to live their dreams.

If you have little knowledge of your niche, learn. Study. Practice.

If you have ample knowledge, share it, through practical tips rich posts.

If you inspire your readers to dream, and to do, you are taking them on the Blogging D train to succeed but they need one more D to reach the Success Station.

I regularly share practical tips laden posts for my readers. To help them build their blogging communities. You need to eventually move into action to help your dreams come true. I share tips for creating helpful content and for connecting with and befriending blogging leaders to make things pop with your blogging campaign.

3: Daily

D3. Share the dream and practical tips daily.

Not through your blog alone. I only post twice weekly on Blogging From Paradise.

Share the dream and practical tips through:

  • guest posting
  • social media
  • blog commenting (not spammy sharing; create value)
  • Quora
  • online forums related to your niche

and do so persistently, on a daily basis. This is how you grow on folks. This is how you appear to be all over the place. This is how you build a successful blog.

Just a few minutes ago one of my new email subscribers shot me an email. He said he found me via the Warrior Forum. All the sharing I did over there – the dreaming, and the doing – inspired him to sign up for my email list.

I have doubled my list in the past 3 months through this persistent sharing of a dream and practical tips, on a daily basis.

Conclusion

Are you on the Blogging D Train to Success?

You should be.

By patiently and persistently selling a dream, sharing practical, actionable tips to take steps toward the dream and by doing so daily you will position yourself to succeed with your blog.
