The Miz looked legitimately angry about having wrestled in a kickoff match at WWE SummerSlam in front of such a small crowd as the company’s biggest summer pay-per-view stretches over a long night. The Raw intercontinental champion picked up a win but could clearly be seen annoyed for having to perform duties with so little fans in attendance. Those on social media took notice.
The Miz and his entourage took on the Hardy Boyz and Jason Jordan in a decent match that unfortunately will be left unnoticed by many as those in attendance have not completely filtered into the arena. The Intercontinental champ, the Attitude Era fan favorites who just returned to the company at WrestleMania and the “beneficiary” of a big storyline with Hall of Famer Kurt Angle were not on the card for a Big 4 pay-per-view.
Despite taking the victory at WWE SummerSlam, The Miz should be able to use the embarrassment of a situation into good heel material. But, certainly a disappointment for the Hardy Boyz who have seen their role in the tag team division diminished.
What did you think of the match? Is WWE overloading SummerSlam with too many matches? Which of these talents is WWE misusing the most? Let us know in the comments section.

Miz looks legit pissed at having to perform in front of 3 people instead of a full house on the main card. Can’t blame him. #SummerSlam

This is a disgrace! Nobody is even in the arena yet & they’re having a match! The Hardys & The Miz are better than this! #Summerslam

That sealed it. @mikethemiz moving to #RAW was a bad move. He went from headlining on #SDLive to pre-showing on RAW. Horrible. #SummerSlam

Good Lord, @mikethemiz is in what might be the earliest preshow match in #WWE history. The IC champ & Hardyz deserves better placement.

The A-Lister and his Miztourage battled The Hardy Boyz and Jason Jordan in an explosive Six-Man Tag Team Match as part of a special two-hour SummerSlam Kickoff.
Since being revealed as the son of Raw General Manager Kurt Angle, Jordan has been in the crosshairs of Intercontinental Champion The Miz and his cohorts, Curtis Axel and Bo Dallas. The A-Lister, seemingly eager to goad Jordan after news broke that he was Angle’s son, has consistently berated the former SmackDown Tag Team Champion. Not one to take disrespect lightly, Jordan has fired back at The Miztourage, both verbally and physically.
