Familiar Creatures developed a campaign for CarLotz. The campaign includes two TV spots, “Soft Jazz Baby” and “Essential Drool,” that will run throughout the year in the Richmond-based used-car dealer’s newest markets in Chicago, San Antonio and Tampa, Florida.

The campaign also includes radio, print, display ads and billboards that launched late last month in all of its markets. Spurrier Group handled media buying and planning, and local brand strategist Rad Tollett provided messaging and media services.

Addison Clark was named lead agency for Richmond Montessori School. Work will include social media advertising, pay-per-click advertising, search engine optimization and website management. The agency launched a mobile-friendly website for American Foundation for Donation and Transplantation, a Bon Air-based nonprofit.

Red Orange Studio is designing 2020 plan guides for Optima Health and updating marketing materials for new client Association for Institutional Research, a Florida-based organization focused on data practices in higher education. The agency’s Slice small-business division designed a website for local software firm Ideaweavers, new branding for New Kent County-based RJ’s Tub and Tile Refinishing and a logo for Richmond software firm Compiled.

Lythos Studios is branding Revel, an upcoming restaurant on Lakeside Avenue by Julep’s owner Amy Cabaniss.

Colab launched a redesigned website for Fairfax-based National Scoliosis Center.

Ndp won two gold cannonball awards and one bronze cannonball at this year’s Richmond Show. Posters for Richmond popsicle maker King of Pops earned golds for promotional advertising and illustration in the design category. An interactive holiday game called Fuel the Yule won a bronze in the interactive show category.

Harrison Parrish is developing a lookalike audience for Sony based on its existing PlayStation Network userbase. Information will be used to develop a new marketing outreach program through social media channels. The content marketing firm also is working with real estate database Zillow to provide lead generation technology to individual agents.

HeliumStudio launched a website for Petersburg Area Regional Tourism. The site includes a feature allowing users to build an itinerary by tagging content throughout the website, as well as a calendar tool, e-news signup, chat and a weather feed. Helium also launched a new site for Center of the Universe Brewing in Ashland. Work included a blog, Instagram photos and a live feed of currently available beers.

Lauren Stewart launched a PR and communications firm called Stewart Media.  Previously with VCU’s Robertson School of Media and Culture and College of Humanities and Sciences, the VCU alum is working out of The Broad coworking space with a client roster including musical groups Big Something and Jouwala Collective.

J Drake Graphic Design completed a website refresh for new client Acorn Sign Graphics, which will also receive a new social media marketing plan. The web design firm also completed a new site for Midlothian-based Exclusive Tax Services and received a gold in the 2019 Hermes Creative Awards for a logo design for Riverside Consulting.

Think is redesigning a website for Hospice of The Piedmont, a Charlottesville nonprofit. It’s also designing the spring issue of Washington, D.C.-based Georgetown Day School’s biannual magazine.
