After buying out shares from the Havas Group, both Snapworx Digital Inc. and Mobxert Inc. combine to form the largest digital agency in the Philippines. Called Xiklab Digital, it wants to ignite creativity and innovation among its partners.

Last month, two major players in the marketing industry broke the news that they were merging to their team of 100 digital marketing experts. Snapworx Digital Inc. and Mobxert Inc. have joined forces to create Xiklab Digital, after the latter’s acquisition of shares from the Havas Group.
Xiklab hopes to use their shared experience and expertise to provide innovative services for future brands. These include strategy, content development, social media marketing, and technological development. “We’re both old and new!” says Xiklab Digital CEO Arthur Policarprio, “Snapworx Digital Inc. and Mobext, Inc. have both been providing full digital services over the past seven years. Together, they now form one of the largest digital creative companies in the Philippines.”

The Marketing Landscape
As the world continues to veer toward a digital landscape, so does the marketing field in an effort to adapt to the changing environment. Policarpio is an experienced and successful figure in the marketing world, having worked for more than 17 years in his field. He has worked with several major companies across Asia including Coca-Cola, DBS Bank and McDonald’s. Policarpio also co-founded the Internet and Mobile Marketing Association of the Philippines (IMMAP) in 2007.
“Our name Xiklab is inspired by the Filipino word ‘Siklab’ which is associated with’“fire’,” says the agency’s chairman JJ Soriano. “Our brand manifesto says as much; just like the game-changer that was fire, we in Xiklab Digital wake up everyday with the burning desire to work with each brand that we partner with to create game-changing experiences.”
