Vietnam coach Park Hang-seo gets new assistants in AFC U-23 Championship preparation

Following reports that Vietnam coach Park Hang-seo will now continue coaching the youth teams, 10 new assistants have been appointed.

The Korea Republic national recalled his initial request to have someone else lead the youth national team as he concentrates on the senior squad and has since changed his inquiry to bring more men to help him manage both.

Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) have been more than accommodating to his requests and following resignations of personnel like fitness coach Willander Fonseca, the VFF have searched for replacements.

And, with the preparation for the AFC U-23 Championship qualification just around the corner, Park’s team coaches have come in to fill in the required positions.

Yan Joo Hoo is the team’s fitness coach and his experience with Suwon Samsung’s U-15 squad will come in handy.

VFF have also hired interpreters with Park Sung-guyn brought in to help the Vietnam coach speak to reporters and press.

Le Huy Khoa returns as a Korean-Vietnamese coach to ensure the players understand the precise instructions.

Lee Tae-hoon, who was a technical coach for V.League team Hoang Anh Gia Lai FC, is now also in on the action.

Dinh Hong Vinh is the team’s new technical coach while still being Juventus Academy Viet Nam director.

Rounding up the list are technical coaches Lee Young Jin and Luu danh Minh. Goalkeeping coach Nguyen Duc Canh, doctor Tuan Nguyen Giap and logistics manager Din Kim Tuan are also new hires.
