WDS Invades Minnesota for Midwest PHP 2018

As much as WebDevStudios (WDS) loves WordCamps, we love attending any conference where we can learn, connect, and have fun. Midwest PHP 2018 is no exception. Considered a conference where the leading developers in the PHP community convene, Midwest PHP 2018 takes place this weekend, March 9-10, in Bloomington, MN. It is the second event of the year where WDS will have a presence.

Jeremy Ward, Backend Developer

Backend Developer, Jeremy Ward, is a consistent attendee. An avid board game enthusiast, Jeremy is looking forward to playing board games with other Midwest PHP attendees on Friday and Sunday. He’s also excited about attending the presentation “Banishing Loops with Functional Programming” by David Hayes of WPShout. You can view all of the Midwest PHP sessions here.

Another big highlight of the event is that Jeremy has organized a taproom crawl, scheduled to take place directly after the closing keynote. Register to attend the 3rd Annual Unofficial Midwest PHP 2018 Taproom Crawl here.

Justin Foell, Senior Backend Developer

Senior Backend Developer, Justin Foell, is also attending, and it will be his third time. He’s looking forward to connecting with former coworker and security expert, Adam Englander, who will be speaking on “Cryptography for Beginners” and “Practical API Security.” See all the Midwest PHP speaker bios here.
