Four local business leaders will be inducted into the Montgomery County Business Hall of Fame in October, the organization announced this week.

Inductees will be:

• Realtor Jane Fairweather, owner of The Jane Fairweather Team in Bethesda.

• Bryant Foulger, chairman of Foulger Pratt, a commercial development firm in Potomac.

• Linda Gooden, former executive vice president at Lockheed Martin, a Bethesda-based aerospace, defense, security and advanced technologies company.

• Sophia Parker, chief executive officer of DSFederal, Inc., a woman-owned business in Rockville that provides research, IT, management and training solutions for Federal government agencies.

The 8th annual event will begin at 11 a.m. on October 29 at the Universities at Shady Grove (USG) in Rockville.

Money raised from the event will be used to fund scholarships at USG. Over the past eight years, the Montgomery County Business Hall of Fame has raised more than $1 million for scholarships for approximately 550 USG students.

Plaques honoring all of the inductees are displayed at USG.
The Business Hall of Fame was founded by Grossberg Company LLP, CPAs and Revere Bank.
