When UHU Glue Meet Faucet, These Strange Water Bubbles Ensue – TechEBlog

UHU Glue Water Bubble Challenge Faucet
When UHU glue meets a bathroom faucet, these strange water bubbles ensue. Before you try this strange experiment with any off-the-shelf glue, make sure that you’re using UHU glue because it’s made of resin which turns gummy upon contact with water or friction. This means when you squeeze some on a faucet and then turn on the water, you quickly get these squishy spheres. Read more for a video and additional information.

When you’re not creating these water bubbles, this glue can be used on wood, wood based materials, plastics (ABS, hard and soft PVC, Plexiglas, polystyrene, Resopal), metal, glass, porcelain, ceramic, leather, rubber, felt, cork, fabrics, cardboard, paper, and lots more. Just like any other materials you prep for glue, make sure that the surface is clean, dry and free of dust and grease. However, when glueing plastics or metal, the parts set to be adhered should be slightly roughened first.
