Dive Bahrain is officially open for divers who want a Disneyworld-like experience under the surface.

The site, which calls itself the “world’s largest underwater theme park,” is now welcoming visitors, Fox News reported.

Dive Bahrain, which is located north of Bahrain and takes up an area of approximately 100,000 square meters, already includes a sunken Boeing 747 airplane. There will also be an artificial coral reef, statues, and a replica of a traditional Bahraini pearl merchant’s house, according to a press release. Divers can explore all the nooks and crannies of this underwater theme park in an engaging environment.

Going to Dive Bahrain is also a fairly seamless process: First, select a licensed dive center to organize trips to the park, then contact the selected dive center to make visiting arrangements and pay the fee specified by the licensed dive center. Dive Bahrain provides a list of registered dive centers on its website.

In June, videos of the Boeing 747 being towed across the sea went viral on social media. The 229-foot long aircraft, which was built in 1981, was sunk to be part of the underwater theme park. Photos and footage of the operation showed parts of the plane being removed before being tugged into the water and floated into position.

The Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA) hopes that the underwater theme park will also provide researchers with data on biology and marine ecology, and raise awareness about protecting the environment.
